Close Quarters Casino

 We now have our Casino open. Hours are:

 Monday thru Friday:  3 p.m. to midnight

 Saturday: Noon to midnight

 Sunday: 1 to 5 p.m.

The Casino is open to members only!!

The "Close Quarters" Casino located downstairs from the lounge is a State regulated gaming operation. Fifteen video gaming machines are available for the entertainment of Elks members and spouses with Elks or ladies auxiliary identification cards. Play Double Diamonds, Keno, Video poker and support Local and lodge charities! Over $80,000 donated to charity in 2003 - 2004 from the Casino.

 

Carlsbad Elks Pool....

     Our pool is the largest outdoor pool in Carlsbad, with two life guards on duty most of the day. We also offer a baby pool for children under 5 years of age. Free swimming lessons continue through out the summer for members children. Pool membership is free to all members and their families that are in good standing.

Local guest are not allowed, but out-of-town members and guest are always welcome.

Carlsbad Elks Dining Room....

 Carlsbad Lodge offers fine dining every Friday and Saturday night. Menu choices include steaks, fish, seafood, chicken, and a special every weekend. Dining Room hours are 6:00 to 9:30 p.m.

     Tuesday Night Meals offer simple family dining at an affordable price, a favorite among the Lodge members. The menu varies each Tuesday night with Chicken Fried Steak, Butterfly Pork Chops, and Sirloin Steak being among the favorites. Each meal includes salad bar, vegetable, potato, and drink. ONLY $5.50.

Meal served 6-7:30 p.m.

Carlsbad Elks Lounge....

     Carlsbad Lodge offers a full service lounge open Monday through Saturday. On at least two weekends a month, you will find a local band playing for your dancing enjoyment. If one of the bands is not playing, you can still dance to your hearts content as DJ Dean Calvani spins CDs or our Free Jukebox. On Monday nights (during the season) you will find the "Monday Night Football Gang" watching the NFL game on a big screen TV and serving up home cooked specialties.

Carlsbad Elks Park....

     Carlsbad Lodge offers over 10 acres of park covered in green grass, trees, picnic tables, gazebos, and BBQ pits. On any given day, you will find families picnicking on the grounds, swimming, playing basketball, volleyball, or horseshoes on one of 4 regulation pits.

Carlsbad Elks Play Ground....

     Carlsbad Elks has a wonderful play ground for the kids to play at when they get tired of the swimming.  The funds for the Play ground equipment was raised by some loyal "Elk Ladies" by selling many a dozen "Burritos".  Over 120 dozen, so I was told.

Carlsbad Elks RV Park...

     Carlsbad Lodge offers free Dry Camping to visiting Elks. A large pad has been set aside to allow quick access to all Lodge Facilities. (4 Electric hookups) 

Carlsbad Elks Golf....

     Carlsbad Elks Lodge is located within 500 feet of the Carlsbad Golf Course, offering a par 3 course and 18 holes in the scenic foothills overlooking Carlsbad, the Lodge, and the Pecos River. The Lodge sponsors at least one Golf Tournament a month. You will find a large group of members on the course every afternoon.
