150 ELKS ANNIVERSARY MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
Any member bringing in a new membership application or reinstatement application will be eligible to win $100. We will keep track of all of those new applications coming
into the Lodge Secretary’s Office and the person who brings in the most applications from now until February 17th, the date of the Elks 150 Anniversary Dinner/Hypnotist show, will win $100, 2nd place $50 and 3rd place $25.
Many of you have signed out new membership applications and not returned them. Now is the time to do that and get some more applications for prospective members while you are in the office. Seems like a pretty easy way to win some quick cash and help your lodge at the same time.

CELEBRATION

Lodge Delivers over 100 Food Baskets for Christmas Anonymous
Over 40 members and helpers boxed up and delivered food baskets on Saturday, Dec. 16th.
We did “drop the ball” during Thanksgiving when Chairman PER Bill Vera was suddenly hospitalized and since Bro. Bill had been in charge for so many years, we were left scratching our heads and not looking very good.
But we both recovered and with a lot of good help, brought a little early Christmas Joy to over 500 people.

Why Would Anyone Pass Up A $5 Ribeye Steak Dinner?
We are puzzled as well. Dinner on Wednesday Night before the lodge meeting…and you are expected to attend the lodge meeting…. is only $5. That is a Ribeye Steak and Fries for only $5.
And, when you attend the meeting, you will get a discount ticket worth $2 off your next meeting night dinner. So, when you keep coming to lodge meetings, your Ribeye Dinner would only cost you $3.
We’ve taken steps to reduce the Lodge Meeting times: only 59 minutes. It starts at 7:00 p.m. and we’re done at 8:00 p.m.
But if you come to dinner, we expect you to attend the Lodge Meetings.

Lodge Vets Come Through on T or C Donations
Like an invasion, over $2,500 landed in our office from our lodge veterans. We want to make special mention of those who gave from $26 - $100: Kenneth Bindel, PER Fred Bloss, PER David Bradley & Radene, Kelly Calicoat, Darrell Coggins,
Glenn Cook, Patty Courter, December “Corn Hole Group”, Riely Dean, Exalted Ruler Russell & Lori Elyasevich, James & Rose Ann Gibson, PER Lucky Heath & Joni Charles Houser, Kenneth Jensen, Bill Kingston, Jim Marbach, Ted McGill, James Melvin, Phyllis Menasco, Patricia Pinkert “In Memory of Ovid Pinkert”, Keith Settle, Charles Sisk, Sherri Smith, Danny Stafford, Glenn Tackett, Veterans Day Breakfast, Dow West and Pat Woolf “In Memory of PER Rudy Woolf”.
And a very big “thanks” to those who generously donated $100 or more: Michael Ackman, William Barnhart, Sammy Burkham, Wayne Carpenter, Steve Carr, Jack & Sherry Coleman, Brian & Stacy Cook, Earl & Connie Diggs, Thomas Durrett, Raboert Havel, Cliff & June Howard, Gary Kennedy, Kenneth Lickliter, Mickey & Sally Miller, Carol Musick “In Memory of Jerry Musick”, “In Memory of Betty Pattman”, Eddie Rodriguez, Johnny Sanders, Mike & Claudia Stapleton, Vernon Shoemake, Peggy Townsend, Glenn Williamson, John & Kelly Wixom and the UFC Fight Night.
We also wish to thank especially Bro. Steve Offner for his very generous, very large donation.
(As of Dec. 18th).  Will print a final list in the February “Hello Bill” of those donations received after the 15th of December.
